Geerlinks Home Hardware Building Centre & Design Gallery – St Thomas
Harry Geerlinks, founder, started his career with Saveway Lumber and successfully operated Beaver Lumber stores in multiple Southwestern Ontario cities. In 1999, Home Hardware Stores Limited bought the Beaver Lumber Franchise from Molson. Harry, and his wife Deb, then became Dealer Owners as part of the Home family of stores.
In 2016, Harry’s son Craig Geerlinks and Adam MacLeod took over as Dealer owners and management of the business. Their continued community support has enabled them to be the most recognized retailers, not only in the community, but also within the Home Hardware Stores family. They have numerous local community and national awards within the Home Hardware Stores 1,100 strong organization. The business has continued to evolve as a dominant building supplier to local builders, contractors and homeowners serviced by a fleet of vehicles across a wide area of Middlesex and Elgin counties and London.
In 2019, the Home Furniture store was converted to a 12,000 square foot Home Design Gallery – geerlinksdesigngallery.ca – specializing in creating innovative contemporary living spaces for the modern lifestyle in St. Thomas, London, and surrounding areas.
Komoka Kilworth Home Hardware Building Centre
In 2020, Craig Geerlinks and Adam MacLeod built a new retail store, drive-thru warehouse and lumber yard to serve a rapidly growing community on the edge of London. They offer a complete range of lumber, building supplies, hardware, tools, paint, plumbing, electrical, housewares, sporting goods, automotive items and a lawn and garden centre. A fleet of vehicles and large inventory between St Thomas and Komoka services builders, renovators and homeowners in a wide area of Middlesex and Elgin counties and London.
Port Stanley Home Hardware
In 2017, the hardware store was purchased by Craig Geerlinks and Adam MacLeod and remerchandised to serve the rapidly expanding beach community. Inventory includes builder’s hardware, hand and power tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, paint and supplies, cleaning, automotive supplies, and seasonal items, including lawn and garden supplies. All items featured on the homehardware.ca website, including building supplies, can be ordered and are available from our central warehouse or one of our other larger locations.
